Today I’m sharing my word for the year and creating this peaceful journal page.

I started this journal differently than I have in the past… I’ll share that in the video.

I also share in the video, how life has thrown me a curve ball and I can still find joy… the joy that comes from creating. From throwing paint around and letting everything go. Joy in a difficult season.

I’ll also have a vintage color palette for you to download free in the subscriber library.

Supplies used:

• Art journal
• Liquitex matte gel and fluid matte medium
• Liquitex gesso black and white
• Collage paper & tissue paper
• Golden soflat raw umber
• Acrylic paint – quin magenta, olive green, raw sienna, prism violet, teal
• Polychromos colored pencils
• King Art crayons
• Stabilo all pencil, Generals charcoal pencil ex. soft, black soft pastel stick
• Fine line applicator for writing
• 1″ flat brush, small round brush
