This piece was a story (my story) from beginning to end.
I was needing a reminder of a few things this week and as I was journaling, I reached for Edith Eger’s book “The Gift”. I’ve shared her book before but it’s so great and I continue to go back to it when I need it.
One of my favorite quotes from her is, “Freedom lies in accepting our whole, imperfect selves and giving up the need for perfection.”
That’s why this piece is titled Freedom. I’ll share all about the journey through this project with all the yummy layers and how Edith’s words inspired me.
I hope you enjoy the process and that this inspires you. And always know that you are loved.
