
It’s our 3rd color and collage challenge! I wasn’t sure I was going to like the color palette for this challenge, but I actually love it! That’s why play is so important.
Every time I step outside my comfort zone and try something, it always teaches me something. It pushes me to let go of the results and just be in the moment. To just be present and content with the beauty of creating.
Although my colors weren’t a perfect match the challenge to find the colors are always exciting to me.
I love how it turned out and I love how the image in the book really inspired my page.

Supplies used:
- Handmade journal
- Collage paper
- Liquitex black and white gesso
- Liquitex matte gel
- Golden So Flat – paynes gray, cerulean blue, raw umber
- Acrylic paint – cad yellow, olive green, turquoise
- 1″ flat brush – 1/4″ angle brush, small round detail brush
- Generals charcoal pencil ex soft
- Stabilo all pencil
- Soft pastel stick in black, white, raw umber, paynes gray
- Foam makeup sponge for stenciling
