Today, Mary Oliver once again has inspired this piece.
Mary writes, ” Every day I walk out into the world to be dazzled, then to be reflective.
It suffices, it is all comfort-along with human love, dog love, water love, little serpent love, sunburst love, or love for the smallest of birds flying among the scarlet flowers.”
I know I want to shut out all voices, media, and craziness and just be dazzled by the world. Turn off my phone and get my feet in the grass or near the flowers.
There is always something to be grateful for… we just need to look and to have the heart that Mary Oliver talks about. And expect to be dazzled.
This piece was fun to put together with lots and lots of layers and a playful start. I hope you enjoy the process and always know that you are loved!
