I had a sudden burst of inspiration this week. I wasn’t planning on doing a project and was going to be sharing a video from the membership…. but when you get ideas… you need to follow them! And I’m so glad I did.
I was reading “The Choice” by Edith Eger this week and was reminded of a quote from her other book “The Gift”…. and I envisioned this piece. Maybe it was just a reflection of what I was feeling… but I saw the layers coming together.
I designed this face stencil just for today and I love it. It captures exactly what I wanted to see on my piece.
I did some different techniques to get a soft, vintage feel and it felt peaceful and like that quiet imaginative hope that Edith talks about. It came together so easily with some of my favorite supplies.
I can’t wait to share it with you and I hope that you’ll find the beautiful hope that I did. Have fun watching and always know that you are loved.
