I did a video a couple of weeks ago show how I create a collage master sheet and how fun it is and can get us creating without perfection.
So many asked after that video for me to show what I would do with that master sheet. So I did! I’ll even show you how I mount it on a wood panel.
A collage sheet it the perfect way to start… you’ve already broken that scary blank page or canvas. And it just take a few small marks, contrast and a bit of color to make an amazing abstract piece of art.

Supplies used:
- 8×8 gallery depth wood panel
- collage master sheet
- Liquitex matte gel
- Liquitex gesso black and white
- Acrylic paint – teal, prism violet, quin magenta, cad orange
- Posca marker with wide tip
- Fine line applicator 20 gauge with DecoArt black Ebony paint and Golden Airbrush medium
- Generals charcoal pencil (ex. soft)
- black soft pastel stick
