Life feels a little heavy right now, and when that happens, I will let it all go in my journal… or I will paint what I need.
Today, I needed light… I needed to feel lighter and to let go of some things, so I grabbed some collage papers, some magazine clippings, and just went to town on this journal page.
I created the light for a few moments. And actually, after creating, I felt lighter. You see, my journal time is just for me.. It’s a conversation I have with myself. I don’t strive for perfection.. I strive for joy, for the quiet and for tuning out all the noise.
Your journal time doesn’t have to make sense to anyone else. No one will see it…. it’s all yours to do with what you want.
I hope you have a chance today to create, especially if you are carrying too much. Silence everything and pick up a paint brush. You’ll be glad you did!
Have fun watching and always know that you are loved!
