I enjoyed my time in my journal this week, creating with this beautiful color palette and wonderful inspiration. This is part of our color and collage paper challenge. I was supposed to do this last week and totally forgot, but better late than never.
This color palette I didn’t think I would like creating with it… But I love it. That’s why I find this monthly challenge so important for our exploration as artists. I created the challenge 1. to help me use up my tons of collage paper and 2. to explore new color palettes. Plus, this year I’ve included a word to help with inspiration when we create.
The schedule and the color palette are available to download in the free subscriber library, along with all the videos for the year. I’m working from Simone Linehan’s book.
I share in the video, my color mixing and how I repurpose old collage paper plus… how change takes time and can be scary… but if we take it one step at a time, we’ll get to where we want to go… just like as we begin our artist journey.
Have fun watching and always know that you are loved.
