Today is our last color and collage challenge for 2025, and oh boy, was it fun! The perfect ending to our year-long journey! The book that I’m using for inspiration is “Artist Colour Inspirations – Vintage fabric” by Simone Linehan
Color mixing can teach us so much, and as much as I do it… I learned a few things this time! After getting my color palette down… I went on the search for collage papers to use. I’m not allowed to create new paper, but I can redo the ones I have. The whole point is to use up the copious amounts of collage papers I have. 🙄
But putting a wash over the papers that aren’t exactly the color I need is the solution, and I love watching the papers come to life.
The word for this month is “giving”. So perfect for December… and the best gift you can give is the gift of yourself. YOU are a gift. Just remember that.
I hope you have fun watching, and that you get your colors out and play along. All of the challenges for this year and last year are available to watch in the subscriber library, if you need to catch up.
Go have fun and always know that you are loved!
