It had been almost 20 days since I had been at my studio table, when I decided I was going to try.
It had been 20 days since we got the news that our daughter Molly was gone. I had tried earlier, but I felt numb, and it wasn’t the time.
So I waited, slept, cried. Then little by little, I felt the nudge to come to the table and process some things with the one way I know all too well, that’s helped me before.
I did one thing at a time until it led to something else, and then something else.
Creating a journal for Molly and for me to express the things that I have inside me.
The only goal is to do the thing that I love for the one I love. No goal except to express.
I hope if you find yourself struggling. That this might give you some hope, and remember, you are loved!
