Today I’m finishing up my Molly journal. We’ll do two pages and the wonderful fabric cover.
I had mixed feelings as I put the finishing touches on my journey through this journal. There was so much in these pages that only I will know and understand.
There is some closure and some opening as I put this journal on my shelf. I may create another journal, just for myself, so I can still have conversation with Molly within the pages.
But I’m also looking forward to what’s to come creatively.
I plan to continue exploring watercolor with mixed media and find ways to make it my own. But to be honest, all I want right now, creatively, is ease. Nothing difficult, just exploration, and I can’t wait to share that exploration with you!
I want to encourage you to do the easy things if you’re stuck creatively or in a hard season. Make ugly pages, swatch colors, try new things. Just continue to show up. Play, cry, let it all out, or whatever it is you need as you create
Thank you for allowing me to be honest and real through these pages. I’m so grateful for this community.
I hope you enjoy the process and always know that you are loved!
