Determined to make a difference, to have compassion, to reach inside and grow and share with others the road I’m on. Will I ever reach the goal, or is the journey the goal? I’m working sooo hard, and some days it feels as if I haven’t moved. How do I get there.?…. just keep going I guess. I feel so inadequate yet hopeful, weak but strong, tired and energetic, my life feels like a contradiction… I’am asking those to be brave and I struggle with fear. Who do I think that I’am… to be able to do this? and who will listen and share in this journey? I guess this is being a human being… all the inner dialogue.. …. has reared its ugly head and being so tired I don’t have the strength to quiet it…. maybe sleep will calm the unrest.

I’ve been teaching and creating for well over 25 years. About 15 years ago I found my art soul mate in mixed media, and it changed my life! I love the story that can be told by combining paint, texture, ink, paper and—really anything that you can imagine.
But what I’m truly passionate about is being your guide, walking with you step by step and helping you become your own hero in your creative journey.
Along my path, I’ve learned that the creating art also creates a healing space. Life can be messy and complicated and painful, but something about a paint brush can help heal your soul.
