This weeks video is so personal for me…. the words are the words that I want to live and what I want to give.

We are ALL beautifully broken…. Our journey connects us… and as I learn to come as I am into life and relationships… it changes everything. Being vulnerable is not easy and down right scary…. and learning to be comfortable in our own skin is life long. But there is freedom in being who we are with all of our quirks and blunders. There is healing in accepting where we are. I work every day to lay down my guilt, shame and burdens and find grace in Him. I also work everyday to be a safe place for those around me to do the same. To give grace. Always remember, You are amazing just as you are….. lay down your guilt… lay down your shame…. come as you are.

I’ve been teaching and creating for well over 30 years. About 15 years ago I found my art soul mate in mixed media, and it changed my life! I love the story that can be told by combining paint, texture, ink, paper and—really anything that you can imagine.

But what I’m truly passionate about is being your guide, walking with you step by step and helping you become your own hero in your creative journey.

Along my path, I’ve learned that the creating art also creates a healing space. Life can be messy and complicated and painful, but something about a paint brush can help heal your soul.
