Keeping track of the good Sunday Inspiration

Sunay-Inspiration-header

From every day craziness to deep, deep hurts, it can be hard to remember that we have something to be grateful for. Some circumstances that we endure are easier to remember the good and some trials are harder to weed through to get to the good. But they are there… the good stuff, the small things that remind us that there is still something to be grateful for.

Today where ever you are, write down those things that you are thankful for. The hugs, the sunrise, the food in the fridge, the bed that you have, the friends that love you in spite of yourself, the children that are healthy, the job that allows you to pay the bills, the paint that you create with, whatever it is for you. Write it down, keep a record, make a list… because you will need to be reminded at some point in the midst of the grumbles and hurt and betrayal. Allow yourself time to feel and fluster and then search for your list of the good to bring you back to abundance.

Remember …… “Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance” Eckart Tolle

Hello there! I’m Shawn Petite

I’ve been teaching and creating for well over 30 years. About 15 years ago I found my art soul mate in mixed media, and it changed my life! I love the story that can be told by combining paint, texture, ink, paper and—really anything that you can imagine.

But what I’m truly passionate about is being your guide, walking with you step by step and helping you become your own hero in your creative journey.

Along my path, I’ve learned that the creating art also creates a healing space. Life can be messy and complicated and painful, but something about a paint brush can help heal your soul.

Join me on this journey of art and inspiration!
