I made this especially for you! It’s Mothers Day here in the US, so I made this for the moms, for those who have moms and for those that have someone who has been an influence or a second mother.

Or maybe you know someone that just needs to know they are loved, that they are not alone.

Mothers day is always a little strange for me.

Never really knowing my mom when she was alive and then her dying when I was 15, now at 52, I can barely remember her. Our relationship was not great, she was a hard women, scary at times and an alcoholic.

It was just her and I from the time I was 8 so I grew up fast often having to take care of her.

But to this day I cling to the things that she gave me. What she taught me, and I have a softer view of a woman that was hurting. I’m grateful for her life and for what she taught in the midst of her own struggles.

I’m pretty sure that, that is one of the reasons why I do what I do and create what I create.

She IS the reason why I am so strong and the reason why I worked so hard to be a mom that loves, learns and grows.

There are other women that have played huge roles in my life, that took care of me, Just when I needed it. Who walked with me as I dealt with life, who taught me how to set a table or cook a pot roast or how to accept myself just as I am.

I hope you find those women to celebrate today, or you can remember what you loved about your mom or celebrate YOU!
