I LOVED THIS ….. It was just plane ol’ fun…

playing and writing out my thoughts and spilling a bit of my heart. The gold pen and glitter made me squeal a little… and I’m not a glitter girl! The scraps from the stash were literally scaps I found at the bottom of my tub of paper and the magazine pages were perfect for the words.

Enjoy the video

Hello there! I’m Shawn Petite

I’ve been teaching and creating for well over 25 years. About 15 years ago I found my art soul mate in mixed media, and it changed my life! I love the story that can be told by combining paint, texture, ink, paper and—really anything that you can imagine.

But what I’m truly passionate about is being your guide, walking with you step by step and helping you become your own hero in your creative journey.

Along my path, I’ve learned that the creating art also creates a healing space. Life can be messy and complicated and painful, but something about a paint brush can help heal your soul. I believe—no, I know—you are worthy of love, and I want to teach you to know that about yourself. Join me on this journey of art and inspiration!

Omg Shawn…. absolutely love this! What magazine did you find the picture of the girl? It is perfect.

When you do a crash your stash, do you start with a plan or just wing it?

Thanks so much for your talent.

    Joy~

Thank you! I got the image from Darling magazine. I usually don’t have and idea until I pull the paper. Then the ideas start flowing but always ends up different that what I initially thought. Hugs
