Autumn Fairy
Julie Campbell
Faces are featured a lot in my work but when it comes to drawing and painting bodies it can be a bit daunting. Using Shawns’ Wing and a Prayer stencil as a guide and a jumping off point makes it so much easier. As you will see there are many variations of characters that can be created. I hope you will be encouraged to create your own little fairy from a few art supplies.
Products Used:
Wing and a Prayer and Garden 2 stencils, Liquitex Matte Gel medium, Tim Holtz Distress Ink (tea dye), Pigma Micron pens, Uniball ‘eye’ pen, Derwent Inktense pencils (Iris Blue, Baked Earth) Dark Blue and Terracotta pencil, Stabilo All pencil, CaranD’ache NeocolorII pastels (scarlet and purple),Daler Rowney gesso, make up sponges and ephemera.
