I love the contrast between the rough edges of the cardboard and rusty heart and the soft colors of the paint and scrap paper. Cardboard is always a great and easy way to add texture and it doesn’t cost a thing! I also love using my fine liner to add just the right effect with scribbles and lines.

Supplies Used: Canson9x12 mixed media journal, Deco art media gesso and matte medium, Scraps from the stash, torn cardboard, rusty heart, Deco art fluid acrylics (prussion blue hue, titan buff, cerulean blue hue), Golden high flow acrylics ( sepia, alizarin crimson hue, quinacridone nickel azo gold) Fine line applicator, archival ink stamp pad in black, vintage stamps, alcohol spray.
