Today is about taking a risk, being willing to fail and finding opportunity in the mistakes and mishaps of life.
This project was spur of the moment, So I really didn’t know what I was doing, but I was willing to try!
The day before this all happened I was weeding the garden and left my clippings on the table to come back and pick up, but the sky opened and we had a downpour.
Fast forward to the next afternoon, back outside to clean up and to my surprise and dismay the flower clippings had bled and stained my stone table. And then to my delight, I had an aha moment.
That’s when I raced inside and muddle my way through eco dyeing. I just love the results and it was so much fun to experiment.
Today be present and see the mishaps or frustration as a possible opportunity to see beauty, to take a risk and try something new or to just appreciate all the good in your world.

Shawn,
I LOVED THIS! I have beautiful flowers in my yard that I would like to enjoy
year round. You have inspired me to experiment with my flowers. So lovely.
Thank you so much for sharing with us all.
I’m so glad I could inspire, have fun and thanks for watching!
Just beautiful and your words are so soothing and inspirational! Thank you <3
Thank you Edith!
Beautiful. I have all kinds of things I could to try this process. I think I will even leave it on the table outside in the sunshine and let the sunshine do its thing with wet flowers, leaves and whatever else I can find outside in my garden to try this with. Sometimes our accidents turn into our masterpieces. 🙂 Thanks for sharing this lovely technique. Happy Sunday.
Thank you Sue! I hope you have fun and share what you create!
