This art journal page was so much fun and was a perfect example of using our stencils as a guide. I often use stencils to help me get the mojo flowing and it’s quick to get an idea of where a piece will go.
This journal page was inspired by a chaotic week and the frustration that comes with growth. I was grumbling about how busy I was running from deadline to deadlines, to customer appointments, when… I walked past a chalkboard I have outside one of my studio doors that says ” Take a risk a women’s place”. That statement has been written on that board for about 14 years and is there to remind me in the crazy times, I need to be grateful. You see, 14 years ago I was dreaming about what my life would look like if I was able to create for a living. If I could encourage and create at the same time and make money doing it. And here I am all those years later living the dream! Although this week was crazy, I was reminded to be oh, so, grateful for the chaos. To be grateful for the dream that I never gave up on, that work harder than ever to keep growing and expanding.
So today my love, if you have even the smallest seed of a dream, don’t give up on it, nurture it. Make plans, big plans, write out even the outrageous unthinkable dream that seems impossible and work for it, stay up late for it, take classes for it, you can do it, it will be hard and scary and beautiful all at the same time.
Never ever give up!
