A peaceful project with lots of grungy texture

This piece was a for a special project but I thought you would enjoy the process.

I also found peace in the subtle color palette and peace was what I was needing this week.

I walk you through how once again I use my stencils as my guide and oh the grungy goodness!

Supplies Used: 24×24 Canvas, vintage papers, fluid matte medium, Gesso, deco art media crackle paint, medium body acrylics (paynes grey, raw umber, burnt umber, medium gray, dark gray, titanium white) Sennelier soft pastels, charcoal pencil, parchment paper.

Stencils used:

Vintage quatrefoil, old world minis, doodle circles, silhouette flower 2,5,4,1, vases large
