12 x 16 x 1.5 Gallery Depth Wood Panel.
I had so much fun creating this piece. I love it when the process flows and the heart engages in the process. The most beautiful art for me comes with my heart’s engagement. The quote “Be the woman you needed as a girl” really spoke to me. Many of us have holes, or at the least, pockets of pain around things that we needed but didn’t get as children. As I worked on this piece, the truth that I had done just that…I have been the woman that I needed when I was small. I felt joy as I created and it came with a sense of resolution and closure. A confirmation that the choices that we make, whether big or small DO make a difference in the trajectory of our lives and the health of our souls. When we learn to love ourselves, the world opens up every possibility.
