I got lost in this piece, I played, experimented and just relaxed.
I tried plastic wrap to get a grungy unexpected background layer and a toothpick with my acrylic, and it all was magic.
I also brought out some Deco Art paints that I’d gotten recently because of the fabulous new colors. The matte finish is perfect for the grungy-ness that I was looking for.
I had a totally different project in mind for today’s Sunday inspiration and as I was looking for collage papers, I came across the main sheet with the most beautiful quote and everything changed.
“There are great victories and struggles and noble acts of heroism done every day, in the nooks and corners, and in the little households, and in men’s and women’s hearts: any one of which might reconcile the sternest man to such a world and fill him with belief and hope in it.” Charles Dickens
Just remember your small acts…. whatever they may be…. can bring belief and hope. And we sure need that right now…. at least I do! I share more about it in the video.
