Hello art friends! I’m so excited to be here sharing a project using Shawn’s stencils today. It is near and dear to my heart because fall is my favorite time of year. I love the warm rich colors of fall home decor. I live in Texas and after very hot summer’s, the cooler weather is a welcomed relief. It’s also my favorite because December has always felt crazy busy for me with overtime at work and all the holiday activities. So November is like the calm before the storm for me.

I have no decorative painting skills and could have never created a project like this without the help of stencils and the collage paper I used. The basic technique was stenciling and then painting over the stenciled images. Beginner friendly, but time-consuming painting all the little flowers.
