Who are you creating for? Exploring childlike play 9-4-22

This week my son, his wife and their kids came for a visit and one of the first things the kids said was, “We want to paint with you Grandma!”  Talk about making my heart happy!!

Pretty soon there was glitter and sparkles and purple paint everywhere!

I can’t wait to share the story with you and how it got me thinking about….who are we creating for? And what if we created with childlike abandon?

So I did my best to create like that in today’s video. I hope you enjoy the project. YOU are loved!

  1. 12 x 12 mdf board
  2. Collage papers
  3. Liquitex matte medium
  4. Golden acrylic raw umber
  5. Liquitex gesso with roller tub
  6. Utrecht gesso
  7. Stabilo all pencil, charcoal pencil
  8. Blick matte black paint
  9. Printed quote
