Angel of hope with soft texture 11-20-22

I always create a few angels each year and right now felt like the perfect time.

I had a plan to call her angel of protection, but as I created and thought through my feelings I knew that she needed to be the angel of hope.

As I was creating, on my table in my jar of scraps was this little yellow butterfly. And what better symbol of hope than the butterfly? I love it when things like that happen!

The journey that a butterfly takes to become the beautiful creature they are gives me hope.

  9. Liquitex acrylic gouache – burnt sienna
  10. Pebeo matte pub in ivory
  11. Liquitex spray paint in white
  12. Krylon gold leaf pen
  13. Kohinoor soft pastel pencils
  14. Black soft pastel stick
  15. Generals charcoal pencil
  16. Daler and Rowney acrylic ink in sepia
  17. Palette knife
