Trust yourself with plaster look texture 11-27-22

I had planned to do an entirely different church project. I’ve had it planned for a couple of weeks.

But as I prepped for it. It didn’t feel genuine, it didn’t feel like what was going on inside me.

So I decided to trust myself, and go with my gut. And I’m glad I did.

This safe space called our creative time is so important to who we are are. It allows us to process, be real and so many other things.

I’ll share more about it in the video. I hope you enjoy this project with its yummy plaster look texture and layers!

Utrecht gesso
Nova color gesso
Liquitex matte gel and fluid matte medium
Pebeo matte pub ivory
Nova color paynes gray

Liquitex acrylic ink – gray, carbon black, titanium white
Roller and tub
Deli paper
Wide palette knife, dough scraper
Soft pastels and charcoal pencil
