Today I completed my cover for my journal. It always feels like such an accomplishment.
A symbol of sorts… to put closure on another year around the sun. It also gives me the chance to reflect on the year and what was happening and how I was feeling when I created those pages.
Some pages I can feel the hope and some pages I can feel the despair, but all the pages truly capture life as it happens.
That’s what I love about my journals… it’s just a small time capsule of my life. A safe haven to be me… and to work through all the things.
I hope your journal is that for you too.
Here’s to a new year, whatever it may bring… all the joys, hardships and sorrows. I’m here for it, still showing up…. still growing… still learning and living life imperfectly….. And THAT is all we can do.
I hope you enjoy the video… Happy New Year!
