Today’s inspiration for this series of 12×12’s came from Uppercase magazine which showed e bond’s artwork and some of Morgan Harper Nichols quotes from her book- You are only just beginning.

It always amazes me when I get a visual inspiration and then the quotes and meaning just fall right into place.

I was looking for a quote to write out as collage paper and happened on a whole section in MHN’s book about curiosity.

I share many quotes in today’s video, but one in particular that says it all about curiosity.

It says “A new way of thinking. A new way of living. A new way of living a meaningful life… Let the process be joyful and hard and awkward. Let it be you.”

The thing about curiosity is it calls us to do something that we’ve never done and won’t do right the first time. That thing that we’re trying to do will feel awkward, but if we infuse ourselves and passion into it .. it will be uniquely you (me).

The projects I did as I put them together today felt awkward at the start… but I found my groove and learned so much!
