In today’s project, I had fun playing with wet strength tissue. I’m just beginning to discover the beauty of it.
I also have a new book that I’ve been inspired by. I’ve been reading about the artist Egon Schiele and the book that documents his life and his art gave me so many ideas.
He has a unique style and he had a very interesting life. In fact, his story actually inspired the quote. He went through a lot in his life and was overlooked, discredited and even jailed because of his art, but he never gave up.
I used his style in my way to create this landscape that, by the way, is made completely of collage papers and just a few soft pastel touches.
I’ll share more about the meaning and the book that inspired me in the video. I hope you enjoy the project, and always know that YOU are loved!
