I did a lot of experimenting with wet strength tissue paper this last week. I did two videos on Youtube showing you my process.

Anyway, I had so much fun just playing, knee deep in all kinds of papers. I gave me so much joy, which is why I titles this piece “More Joy”.
Today I incorporated some of those papers into this project and let this piece just flow. It was super simple and I can’t wait to share it with you and I hope you enjoy the process.

Supplies used:
- 12×12 wood panel
- Liquitex matte medium/ matte gel
- Liquitex matte varnish
- Acrylic matte paint – quin agents, prism violet, burnt sienna, unbleached titanium, titan buff
- Grumbacker raw umber acrylic
- Stabilo all pencil, Generals charcoal pencil ex. soft, Black soft pastel
- Palette knife and brayer
I used wet strength tissue (which is not available right now) The background paper was created on Toddy coffee filters (strength and transparent.
