I loved the journey of this piece. I’m combining so many things that I’ve been inspired by this year. I feel like it’s a pivotal point in my creative process.
All the practice, play, experimenting and curiosity has brought me to a wonderful place of joy with my work and I can’t wait to see what the next adventure will be.
This year of curiosity is not over and I’m not quite it will ever end, nor should it.
The only thing we as artists can do it try new things, create with no plan, experiment with new mediums and let go of the thought of a perfect project and let things happen. THAT’S when we find the joy, the meaning and our voice in our work.
I’m bringing all the texture that I’ve been playing with over the last weeks along with inspiration from so many other artist that I’ve been inspired from into this abstract landscape.
I hope you enjoy the project and I’ll share more about the process in the video.
Always know that you are loved!
