Today’s project was hard to start and then I couldn’t stop! I’ve had this block with creating florals and I decided to just play today… to make a mess.
I also found some inspiration from a new to me artist Gorge Galindo.
I started in my journal, playing with stencils and pan pastels, just to get out of my own way… and do something related to flowers. I’ve had this vision in my head of what and how I want to create my floral projects but just couldn’t do what I wanted.
I’ve created other projects that were good, just not what I wanted. But as I was doing my journaling and quiet time this week. I came across THIS QUOTE:
“I believe that the most single important thing beyond discipline and creativity is daring to dare.” Maya Angelou
So I decided to dare today… dare to create something that just might be bad, and to dare to continue to make ugly flowers until… it felt right and until I found my way.
I dared today to stop overthinking it and just DO it. And I did it in the most unexpected way.
I share all about it in the video. Enjoy the process and always know that you are loved.
