It had been a stormy day and with lots of wind. Once the weather settled down, I went out to the backyard to straighten up chairs that had toppled over and I found a treasure.
A birds nest had fallen to the ground with all it’s magic and bits of life, twigs, thread, and fabric all woven together. I brought it inside to get a closer look and then quickly began getting things out to create my own.
As I was gathering ideas…I was wondering what happened to the bird and if it was ok. I also started thinking about this season of weather … when Mother Nature struggles to let go of winter and head into spring. So many meanings and thoughts from one little birds nest.
I share all about the process and more of the story in today’s video .
